Students in this class were asked to undertake original research on a variety of printed books produced in Venice in the Renaissance. Venice was the printing 'hub' of Italy from the late 15th to the end of the 16th century, home to an international array of printers, publishers, editors, writers, artists, printmakers and print sponsors who were major contributors to the evolution of the print profession.
