Stravinsky to Boulanger
April 14, 1960
Very dear Nadia, Happy Easter. Your note touched me greatly.
Very busy: composition, treatments for my blood and my arteries (protection against new
surprises!?), concert here (Mass and Noces in June), conducting there (Oedipus in Santa Fe in
July), then we fly to South America for a concert tour (sharing the program with Bob), Mexico,
Bogota, Lima, Santiago, Buenos [Aires], Rio, Caracas, from August 1 to September 17. Then to
Venice where Bob and I will be conducting at the Biennale, half and half, on September 26.
We’re publishing the second volume of our conversations with Bob under the title of Memories
and Commentaries. This volume is dedicated to you.
With all my love,
Write always—I’ll be here until the beginning of July.
