Very touched, dear Nadia, by your letter for me of June 18—thank you!
We leave tomorrow to conduct a concert on June 13 in Red-Rocks, close to Denver. The 14th we
fly to New York and then on to London on the 15th where for two weeks I am recording my
R[ake’s] Progress with Columbia. The 28th or the 29th I’ll conduct my Bach Variations and my
Symph. of Psalms at Oxford (Bach Society)—then back to U.S.A. I just wanted you to be up to
date on our plans as much as possible.

[P.S.] We bought the Baroness of Erlanger’s house. Immense amount of work to repair
everything. This year (with so many trips), composing, the house (we are not selling the one
where we live. I like it too much—it's been twenty-four years!).
