My postcard: contemporary perspectives

Unknown.jpg

Everything in the postcard is still around. Loch Awe is similar today compared to the past. For the most part the area has kept is natural beauty. The region continues to grow as a tourist destination for its picturesque landscapes and simplicity compared to the other busy and loud destinations (visitscotland, 2019). The postcard serves as a way to compare Loch Awe today to what it was in the past. This will stress the importance of not changing the magnificent natural environment for fancy buildings or infastructure. In addition, the buffalos in the foreground still exist today. The buffalo symbolizes abundance and prosperity. This shows the value of the postcard because it shows well being of who is sending the message. The postcard also serves as a message of the prosperity of the country of Scotland. As previuosly stated Scotland is still strongly connected with the Christian Faith. John 3:16 (the bible verse on the postcard) is an extremly popular bible verse to show God's love for his people. The combination of the beatiful landscape, the symbolism of the buffalo and the bible verse shows how this postcard is so much more than just a birthday message. It gives insight into the well-being of the person how sent the postcard.
