My postcard: contemporary perspectives

loch katrine 3.jpg

Autumn on Loch Katrine

Loch Katrine is still around today and has been providing fresh water to the city of Glasgow for over 150 years. It is a journey to get there, but it is well worth the trip; there are picnic spots that have a view across the loch, beautiful paths to bike along, and you have the opportunity to go on a cruise on either the Sir Walter Scott Steamship, or The Lady of the Lake. The colors at Loch Katrine during the fall season is spectacular and attract many tourists to witness this seasonal experience. The color choice of the plaid background on the postcard can represent the season of fall and the warm colors of the scenery changing. It can give viewers a perspective of the time of year the photo was taken and give people the opportunity to share that seasonal experience of the Loch Katrine with them.
