My name is Rehan Nagoor, I am a Software Engineering student studying at The University of Guelph.

I have interests in programming, gaming, art and more. Although, I love learning new things in general.

I picked my postcard not only because I liked the picture and view but also because of the way it was portrayed. A sort of unique artistic painting. The postcard was not only highlighting certain monuments but more generally how people were relaxing in the park compared drastically to the busy road right next to it.

From this course I have learned a lot about postcards, the importance and history of postcards but also the how postcards a valuable asset to find out important history and trends of a  certain time period. I our class we looked mostly towards scotland so I learned a lot about their history through postcards and their type of advertising and unique humour as well as their stereotype being advertised in order to promote tourism.
