My name is Georgia Weber and I am a first year undergraduate student currently studying Criminal justice and Public Policy. I am very interested in law and hope too one day attend law school too become a criminal prosecutor. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family and being outside as much as possible. From skiing and snowboarding in the winter, to zip lining and wake boarding in the summer.

My decision to choose this postcard can be attributed to the many characteristics it has. First the scenic picture of the ocean side buildings with a large building on the top of the hill overlooking everything. As well as the elderly couple sitting on the bench. Secondly, the interesting coloured plaid that surrounds the picture. And finally the coat of arms, with the unique symbols.

This course has encouraged me to have a deeper appreciation for postcards and the se they played in early history, as well as the influence they have had in Scottish tourism. Also I have learned the definition and importance of ephemera. Overall, this course has taught me to appreciate the small things in an historical context, and understand the many different factors that go into creating an exhibit.
