This pamphlet was designed to be distributed to the wives of the workers so that they could learn how to cook more nutritious meals. It was provided alongside training for the wives. They would attend club meetings on "healthy for victory". During these meetings, they would learn about nutrition and better cooking practices. Their young children would also attend kindergarten at the factory, where the children would also learn about healthy foods. (Rosener, Ann, 1943)
Westinghouse's goal in creating this program and the pamphlets that go along with it was to keep their workers healthy so that they could keep producing goods during war time and allow Westinghouse to continue making money.
