This pamphlet served the purpose of providing a simple and inexpensive way to create a meal with the use of dairy products. It was designed to be used by women, was to be used as a recipe book. However, the purpose that it serves now is different. It is no longer used as a recipe book for the use of evaporated milk, and it is no longer circulated. It is now primarily considered ephemera and secured in the culinary collection in the archives at the University of Guelph. The once sturdy paper it was created out of, has now aged and become fragile. It is only used and cared for by researchers and professionals. Its purpose is currently served as a use of research and evidence of the social, economic, cultural and political events in the period it was created. Those that created this pamphlet would never have known that it would no longer be serving its original purpose, and be kept in a secure location for research purposes.
