Party Suggestions by Jane Ashley, created by the Canada Starch Company.

"Party Suggestions" was created by the Canada Starch Company, which is now called the Canada Starch Operating Company Inc. It was printed in Montreal, Canada and although no exact date of creation is specified through research, it is determined that it was created within the 1950's (Party Suggestions). Jane Ashley, of the Home Services Department, is noted as the author, and is also the creator of numerous other cookbooks and recipe pamphlets, such as, "Jane Ashley's Mazola Menu Magic" in 1951, and "Jane Ashley's Newest Recipes for Better Meals" in 1952 (Jane Ashley's Mazola Menu Magic: Recipes and Variations for Delicious Main Dishes, Sauces, Fried Foods, Salads, Sald Dressings, Cakes, Pies, Desserts Vintage 1952-Jane Ashley's Newest Recipes for Better Meals-Karo, Mazola). Though it is not specified, she is believed to be a real person and not a fabricated social figure, as mailing information was listed  in an advertisement for one of her cookbooks (P.O Box 173, Trenton, New Jersey) (1952 Ad Jane Ashley Recipe No-Cook Marhsmallow Frosting Recipe Karo Corn YBL1).
