The St. George Station postcard was preserved by George Sleeman as it was part of his ephemera collection, and then transferred to the University of Guelph Library Archives and continues to be preserved and studied there.

            The postcard has been preserved well as it was kept flat with no wrinkles in the paper, from this we can tell that whoever kept this postcard intentionally preserved it. As well, due to the fact the postcard has never been written on, it is likely that it was purchased and kept with the intent of preservation.
