About the Curator

Hello my name is Ethan Aitchison and I am a first year student at the University of Guelph. I am in the biological science program majoring in zoology. I plan on going into research after university, more specifically on animal diseases and behaviour. Besides school, I enjoy the outdoors and going on hikes during my spare time. In the summer I enjoy doing any outdoor activities such as fishing and canoeing. Although I love wildlife and nature, I also enjoy computers and playing online video games with friends. History 1050 has helped develop my writing and research skills, as well as identifying the appropriate sources needed so formulate different perspectives on time periods throughout history. These skills have been developed by looking at a variety of primary and secondary sources on guidebooks and postcards in Scotland, and using them to interpret information on the past. I have been able to transfer these skills to my science courses, which have proven to be quite beneficial.
