My name is Jordan Slade and I am a first year arts student here at the University of Guelph. Before this semester I had very limited knowledge on Scotland and tourism in Scotland. I am from Bermuda, an English colony. Being from Bermuda I have had very little interaction with Scottish history and this class has helped me see past the implicit bias of English heritage and into studying Scotland from an academic standpoint
