Here I am at Lake Louis, AB

My name is Thomas Breckon and I am currently if my first year at the University of Guelph, majoring in Political Science. Some of my hobbies include hockey, reading, and making short films with my friends. While I am currently unsure about my future, I chose to major in Political Science in order to have a better understanding of the world. I choose to take history as it has always been an extremely interesting subject to me. Little did I know that I would end up taking History of Scottish Travel, and end up enjoying it so much. This course has been extremely helpful to my academic studies, through our studies into primary and secondary sources as well as learning just how much our library has to offer. I have also gotten the chance to learn more about my family heritage, as I have several relatives from Scotland. Overall, this course has been my favourite through my first semester at university, and I believe that the skills I have learned will continue to benefit me through my entire academic career.
