About the Curator

My name is Kevin Alves and I am a first year student at the University of Guelph. I was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario. I am currently 19 years old and I have almost finished my first semester as a post secondary student. In my spare time I enjoy playing hockey and goin to the gym. I enjoyed taking history courses throughout my time in high school. This lead to me choosing Scottish Tourism and Travel, with Kevin James this semester. This course has taught me how to conduct extensive research in a more professional way, which inherently will apply to most other courses in the future. For our final assignment this semester, I was tasked with examining a Scottish postcard, which is over 100 years old.
