Hi and welcome to the exhibit! My name is Madeleine Zanin and I am honoured to be one of the curators of this magnificent exhibition. I am originally from Toronto and came to Guelph this year to study bio-medical sciences. After undergrad I would love to have the opportunity to travel the world and go to medical school to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a pediatrician. Throughout high school I really enjoyed taking history as an elective and found it captivating to learn about the history of the world. I also noticed that it gave me an edge up on my fellow science students and how much it helped me excel in my science courses. This course has been so beneficial to me as it has taught me many valuable research and critical thinking skills that I consistently use in the majority of my other courses. In the future I would love to continue taking history electives so long as my schedule allows for it. I hope you enjoy this exhibit as much as I did making it.
