About the Curator

Hi! My name is Maddie Hubble and I am a psychology student at the University of Guelph. I hope to one day become either a criminologist or a paralegal. Some things that I enjoy doing are playing sports, volunteering, working and spending time with family and friends. At home, I played hockey for 15 years with the Whitby Wolves Representative Hockey Organization. After I experienced some issues with injury, I decided to give back to this organization and volunteered with the Atom A team as an assistant coach and Trainer for nine and ten-year-old girls. I also time kept hockey games and volunteered at tryouts for this organization to give back after all of the support I received throughout my years of playing hockey. I also played field lacrosse for the Oshawa Lady Blue Knights Field Lacrosse Association for 5 years. Other than representative sports, I also played high school hockey and lacrosse for Brooklin High School during my 4 years of high school. Some other things that I enjoyed doing were organizing sporting events for my high school, and volunteering during these events. For example, I organized a sports day for Grade 8 students in my community. I volunteered with some friends to make this day happen which allowed them to see their future high school. Another thing I enjoy doing is traveling, as I hope to one day travel the world. I love to learn about other cultures that exist around the world and trying new things within these new places. One last thing I enjoy is spending time with my family and friends.
