Four (4) adult servings of this recipe costs $11.94. If we had used the highest priced ingredients we saw for sale on October 6^th, 2017, in Guelph, this cost would have been 9% higher. If we had used the lowest priced ingredients, the cost would be 24% lower. Since we shopped at a more expensive full line grocery retailer instead of at its discount counterpart, our price leaned towards the high cost. However, we found all our low-cost ingredients at the discount supermarket. Some grocery stores are more expensive, but sometimes it makes senses to purchase our groceries there, and forego the cheaper ingredients.
