PENNE ALL’ARRABBIATA

I prepared a recipe for Penne All’ Arrabbiata from Antonietta Terrigno’s Classic Italian Cooking Book. My final reflections on this project are as follows. The most interesting thing I learned was that “arrabbiata” means angry in Italian and is often used to describe spicy Italian dishes. I found that overall my classmates really enjoyed the dish I prepared. The only criticisms I received was that the pasta could have used more sauce. I found this recipe to be relatively inexpensive and easy to prepare and serve. I think this a very practical recipe for students based on its price and level of skill required.

Buon Appetito!
