SUMMER ROLLS

We prepared a recipe for Summer Rolls from Pauline Nguyen, Luke Nguyen and Mark Jensen’s, Secrets of the Red Lantern: Stories and Vietnamese Recipes from the Heart. Our final Reflections on this project are as follow.

We learned that Northern Vietnamese people eat Summer Rolls with fish sauce, while Southern Vietnamese people use hoisin sauce.

 Our recipe was voted as the class favourite that day. They loved the fresh herbs and hoisin sauce.

We give our dish a 9/10 because we love every single aspect of it except some ingredients can only be found in Vietnamese-Chinese supermarkets.
