About this recipe

Greek ethnic cuisine comprises many different traditional ingredients such as, Greek olive oil, dried oregano, Kalamata olives, thyme, and other traditional Greek herbs.

The content of the cookbook is neatly organized from appetizers and salads first, to main dishes (meat, fish, chicken), followed by sweet dishes. Organized in an “easy-to-find” way. Interesting facts about the types of foods still consumed and some that are no longer consumed through different historical eras can be found at the beginning of the cookbook.

The recipe chosen, chicken with rice casserole, is representative of Greek cuisine because many traditional ingredients can be found in this recipe, and is a well-rounded meal made from a variety of food groups.
