Reflections

I prepared a recipe for grilled skewered pork from  Glenda Barreto et al, in Kulinarya, A Guide to Philippine cuisine. My final reflections on this project are as follows.

  • The most interesting thing you learned was cooking with soda. It added to the flavour of the dish and made the taste good and unique. I loved it . The turn out on the recipe was very good on the first try.
  • Finally, the entire process of replicating this recipe was great. Ingredients were affordable and available. The actual preparation process was just fine and the outcome is worth the time and energy. Comments like, "I like how sticky sweet it is.",    "The texture is good and flavour is nice.", "Very tender and sweet" and " It is extremely flavourful and the pork is light! fresh! delicious!  when asked what they think about the recipe?, makes me know my sense of judgement is great.
