Based on my analysis, it seems that this recipe could be part of a once per week or only on special occasions. The name Sugar Pie gives some indication to the fact that this pie is not the healthiest thing for you. As examined by the Eatracker website, the recipe contains high quantities of sugar, fat, sodium, and carbohydrates in one serving. While high sugar consumption on an occasional basis is not terribly unhealthy, there are studies that show that a high sugar diet leads to greater risks of heart disease and cardiovascular mortality. However, there are high amounts of calcium in the recipe. Calcium consumption is great for skeletal health, reducing the risks of osteoporosis or osteoarthritis in adults.
