 Based on our analysis, it seems that this recipe could be part of a healthy diet and eaten once per week, depending on your dietary habits and physical activity level. The lamb supplies just over half the calories and most of the protein in this dish. However, the lamb is very high in saturated fat, making it unhealthy for the heart. On the positive side, the dish as a whole is high in iron, vitamin C, vitamin K, B vitamins, potassium, folate, magnesium and zinc. Use leaner cuts of lamb to reduce fat content and add carrots to increase antioxidants.
