I selected Australian cuisine and a recipe for Raspberry Kiwifruit and Banana Salad with Lime Dressing. This recipe was from Loukie Werle’s, “Australia, The Lucky Country Cookbook”, which was published in 1990 by Peter Antill-Rose & Associates. I was interested looking at Australia for this project because I have some friends from there who have told me it is an interesting place. I had also heard its culture is similar to that of ours here in Canada. I chose this recipe in particular because of the kiwi fruit being symbolic of Australia and it being a main ingredient of this recipe. Many people may be interested in this recipe because it is very easy to make, it wasn’t too expensive, and it’s healthy.
