SPICY RICECAKE
We prepared a recipe for Spicy Ricecake from Maangchi’s Real Korean Cooking. Our final reflections on this project are as follows. The most interesting thing we found is that it is easier to cook the dish than we thought before. We always ordered the dish in Korean restaurants but we did not have the idea to make it at home. Now we have learned how to make this dish. Our classmates really enjoyed the food, they said that “ the food is interesting” and someone said “ it is the first time try the ricecake, texture is nice”. Also some people who love spicy said “ it is not that spicy”. Our rating of the food is 8.5/10. The deducted points were for the difficulty of purchasing the ingredients. Since we cannot find and purchase ricecake, fishcake and pepper paste in Guelph’s supermarkets then we went to the Chinese supermarket in Mississauga to buy the ingredients. But the preparing and serving part is successful.
