떡볶이 (Korean Spicy Rice Cake)
We selected Korean cuisine and a recipe for Korean Spicy Ricecake. This recipe was from Maangchi, Maangchi’s Real Korean Cooking, published in 2015 by Rux Martin/Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
Korean spicy rice cake is a popular, traditional Korean dish made from soft rice cake, fishcake and chili paste. It is commonly purchased from street vendors and restaurants through South Korea. Since it is spicy and a little bit sweet, it can make people feel warm, especially in the winter. Therefore, nearly Koreans love it and like to share it a party.
