Four adult servings of this recipe costs $40.29. If we were to had used the highest priced ingredients on November 1st in Guelph, this cost would be 71% higher. If we were to had used the lowest priced ingredients on November 1st in Guelph, this cost would be 45% less. Lean beef was the most expensive ingredients. It accounted for approximately 30% of the costs for our recipe because we needed a very large portion. None of the products we purchased were on sale; however, the produce items (vegetables) were very cheap.
