 4 adult servings of this recipe costs $41.28, about $10.32 per serving. If we had used the highest priced ingredients we saw for sale on our shopping trips on September 29th in Stratford and October 19th in Guelph, this cost would be 17% higher ($49.57). If we had used the lowest priced ingredients, the cost would be 33% lower ($27.37). Many of the ingredients were cheaper in bulk; however, this would have created more waste. Lamb neck was the most expensive ingredient and the specific cut was hardest to find. Fortunately, we found it at the Guelph Farmer’s Market.
