We prepared a recipe for Japanese Fluffy Cheesecake from Japanese Cooking Made Simple. Our final reflections on this project are as follows.
The most interesting thing we learned was how simple and universal the ingredients used in Japanese cuisine really are. The combination of just a few ingredients created such an intricate yet delicate flavor. 25/26 comments we received from classmates suggested they enjoyed our Japanese cheesecake more than a traditional Western cheesecake. Our overall rating for this recipe is 9/10 because we enjoyed the process making the cheesecake even though we needed to make 6 attempts. The the shopping trips were tedious.
