APPLE TART FROM MADRID

We prepared a recipe for an Apple Tart from Madrid from Penelope Casas, 1000 Spanish Recipes. Our final reflections on this project are as follows.

The most interesting thing we learned from making this recipe is how simple it is to make a delicious dessert from another culture. It is truly amazing how simple it is to create a small representation of another culture's cuisine to experience a little piece of Spain. Our taste testers, the other students in our class, enjoyed the tart very much, here are some comments they made: "Never knew apples and lemons together taste that good, definitely, if I had the time to make it I would!", "It's a delicious indulgent dessert. I would make this recipe later." Our overall view on our food is wonderful, we loved eating it and making it was so simple. We are very happy it was enjoyed by our classmates and would not hesitate to make it again. We hope you try out this delicious recipe at home and like it as much as we did.

Buen provecho!
