About this recipe

This cookbook was a compilation of recipes chosen by the publishing company Salinas Press. It does not contain a specific author for any of the recipes and we were unable to find the whereabouts of who wrote the original recipe.

Americans often view Japanese culture and food as mysterious and inaccessible, but this cookbook tries to prove that it’s easy and surprisingly quick by providing fundamentals to understand Japanese language, tools, food, and cooking methods.

The recipe was developed by a Japanese company known as Uncle Tetsu who targeted this cheesecake towards Asians because they prefer a less sweet and lighter cheesy flavor. Greece, Rome, Polish, American and German cultures also had an influence on the fluffy cheesecake.
