WIENER SCHNITZEL

We prepared a recipe for Wiener Schnitzel and White Sauce from Mimi Sheraton’s, The German Cookbook: A complete guide to mastering authentic German cooking. Our final reflections on this project are as follows.

The most interesting thing we learned was that Canada was the 10th for cattle/beef production. We were under the impression that Canada would be ranked higher.

According to our classmates, on a scale from to 1 to 5, 75% of our classmates rated our dish a 4 or a 5 with respect to how well it represented German cuisine. Also, 30% said they would definitely make this dish in the future and 50% of people said they would might do so. However, some would only if there was a gluten free or vegetarian option.

Based on our shopping and cooking experiences, we rate this dish a 4 out of 5. The dish was easy to shop for and tasted great. However, it was labour intensive and time consuming in terms of cooking and preparing the dish.

Genießen!
