BISKUITROLLE (Swiss Roll)

The most interesting thing we learned about this recipe was that Dr. Oetker was actually the inventor of baking powder (Oetker., 2017). He created it for home use in his pharmacy in 1861. This dish was quite popular among our classmates with one comment being, “definitely one of my favourites today even though i don’t normally enjoy fruit spreads.” Other students also seemed to really enjoy the dish and described it as being “very spongy and tasty.”. Overall we would give this dish this dish an 8/10. The ingredients are readily available at most local grocery stores making the shopping effortless. Biskuitrolle is quite easy to make depending on the dough recipe used, and it is widely enjoyed by many.
