VIETNAMESE SPRING ROLLS

s03ricepapersaladrolls.jpg

We selected Vietnamese cuisine and a recipe for Rice paper salad rolls. This recipe was from Andrea Nguyen’s, The PHO Cookbook, which was published in the year 2016 by Ten Speed Press. We chose this due to our love for pho, a tradition Vietnamese comfort food. This food is close to our hearts, and therefore we wanted to further explore this cuisine. There are 157,450 Vietnamese Canadians, therefore we could assume that at least this many people in Canada might be interested in this recipe. This recipe is a good representation of this cuisine because it includes elements typical throughout Vietnamese cooking. These elements can be described as vermicelli noodles, fresh herbs, shrimp and pork.
