Reflections

TZATZIKI

I prepared a recipe for Tzatziki from The Recipe Club of St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, The Complete Book of Greek Cooking. My final reflections on this project are as follows.

The most interesting part of this project was discovering that China produces such a large amount of garlic and cucumbers. It was intriguing to learn where these everyday foods come from since it is not something that people often consider.

All of my classmates agreed that this recipe was an accurate representation of authentic Greek cuisine. The majority could taste the distinct flavours of each ingredient, which they all seemed to like.

I really enjoyed making this recipe since it was quite easy and quick. It was slightly challenging to find the cheapest ingredients since yogurt and cucumbers can be expensive, but this can change depending on grocery store sales and different seasons. The final taste was delicious, so I would definitely make this recipe again.

Απολαμβάνω!
